“Don’t bother, I think it’s dead!”

Featuring both common and rare, unreleased photos from the Superman-The Movie scenes filmed in Superman Canyon in Gallup, New Mexico in June 1978. They include Jimmy, Lois and Superman in the desert during and after the earthquake. Additional desert scenes of Lois in her red car (at the exploding gas station and with the Indians) were filmed in Canada in August 1977.

Source material includes prints, contact sheets, slides, and Polaroids. Many photos are shown in their “raw”, un-restored state, and are either JPG or PNG format; PNGs take longer to download so please be patient.
