Mattel’s 12″ DC Universe Christopher Reeve Superman figure first went on sale on December 15, 2010, which was also the 32nd anniversary of Superman-The Movie‘s U.S. theatrical release! Hot Toys Marlon Brando Jor-el Figure
Many of you purchased the amazing Marlon Brando Jor-el figure from Hot Toys in 2007. I was personally blown away when mine arrived in the mail! It is certainly one of my most favorite Superman collectibles, and proudly sits next to my custom Superman action figure by Kris Meadows.
Superfan Martin Lakin provided the first six photos below of the Jor-el figure — I added some “Geoffrey Unsworth glow” to all of them. Thanks Martin for these great images! The others are the “official” Hot Toys photos. Keep your fingers crossed that this company will soon make a definitive Christopher Reeve Superman figure in 2011!
