YOUR LETTERS
"Thank you for hosting such an elegant and professional site. I also share your love of this classic film [Superman-The Movie]. With your help, future generations will be able to enjoy this wonderful movie, and the man who touched so many of our lives with his grace and humility. Lord knows we could use him now.
Sincerely, L. Lambert"
"Hi Jim, I have come accross your fantastic website, while researching my own interests in Superman-The Movie and Superman II. Like you, I'm a keen photographer and a fanatic for all things technical. What I love about the first two movies is:
1. The potrayal of Superman and Clark Kent by the wonderful Christopher Reeve, who in my opinion made the role his own.
2. The visual effects that were achieved, considering the technology available and the time in which the films were made. Credit to Derek Meddings, Les Bowie, Roy Field and all the other talented technicians, who made this possible and a joy to watch.
And finally because of people like you, who keep the 'soul' and memories of these wonderful films alive. I remember clearly the first time I watched the movie and was amazed and captivated by everything I saw. This made an everlasting impression upon me and to this day, I still love watching the films. I've also been facinated by visual effects and always have to know how they were done, and your website has given me an insight.
In 2004 I was deeply saddened to learn that Christopher Reeve had died. He had so much to give, not just as an actor, but as a human being. Watching the films, reminds me of what he achieved and how much of an inspiration he was.
Anyway, Jim I just wanted to say a big thank you, for creating this website. The behind the scenes photos are great. Keep up the good work and may this website go from strength to strength. And finally let us not forget Christopher Reeve, who made us believe a man can fly.
Regards, K. Alexius"
"Jim, I love your website tribute to Christopher Reeve. I've grown to admire the work of this great man, even beyond his Superman work. Chris' SOMEWHERE IN TIME is one of the great films of our modern times. Like George Reeves, Chris brought to life to a character, made you believe. The most glaring comparison I can make about these two extraodinary men is their true to life sincerity and caring for others. They made a difference. They put others before themselves, living life unselfish. And that's what makes them admired by millions. When people say George is Superman, it can be equally stated without hesitation...Chris is too. The world dropped two notches when they left us. I've no doubt, they are together continuing the cause elswhere, fighting for the good. God needs good people and they don't get better than George and Chris. Thanks for all your work and dedication to this web-site. You know Chris would approve. Regards,
Lou Koza."
"Jim, this is the best Superman website in the planet. I wish to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am a big Superman fan and the work you have done cannot be expressed in words. Thanks Jim and may God bless you."

"Words cannot express how grateful I am for finding your website. You area doing a wonderful job of keeping the legend and memory of Superman and Christopher Reeve alive. I laughed at the trailers and wept at the tributes. George Reeves was my first Superman, but Chris Reeve was the real Superman. Thank you again."
Sincerely,
Bill Karis."
"I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and congratulate you for this website, which is, by far, the best and only (in my heart) place for anything to commemorate Christopher Reeve's memory. He will always be remembered as Superman but first and foremost, as one of the greatest people that graced the face of the earth. The world lost a Superman, but if we hold strong together, remembering what Mr. Reeve faced with courage and humility, we may continue to inspire other people to do the same in years to come. This is my first (and definitely not the last) visit to your site, and the quality you show, Mr. Bowers, is beyond anything I could ever imagine. This little visit allowed me to go back in time to visit cherished memories while contemplating these magnificent pieces of art. Congratulations, hands down, on the best Superman-Christopher Reeve tribute to grace the face of the web."

"From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank you for all the work you have done, and are still doing, to keep Christopher's memory and dream alive. I was injured in a car accident in 1998 and sustained head and c-spine trauma. CHRISTOPHER was the greatest inspiration and still is! He showed me that you can still dream. Thank you for the hope you still bring me!!!

"I just wanted to thank you, Jim, for hosting the best overall Superman site on the internet. I just sampled the DVD musical score and DVD musical cues in MP3 format from your site, and I must say that I can't wait to listen to it in its entirety. Your archive of Superman media is unmatched on the internet. You have a great thing going here - keep it up! That's some amazing work you have going on there. When I saw the musical score and cues, I nearly flipped out because that material is extremely hard to come by. It's nice to have it readily available for the fans like you have. Good quality too at 128k!

“Hi, I just wanted to say the site is really great and the superman pictures are awesome! Thank you for keeping the site up to date, too! :) I really like the newer wallpapers available too...very, very nice! The only cool scenes from the Superman movies I haven't seen yet are ones like when he was young and leaped ahead of the train, or when he dropped from the Daily Planet window and transformed in mid air, or maybe even fights with Nuclear Man. The current ones are super impressive though, and your site is definitely a favorite in my bookmarks. Thank you for showcasing Reeve's awesome pics for people to see. Wonderful site! :)
Chris.”
“I visited your site again today (once in a week I think) and I saw the new items. Great! In 1978 I was 10 years old when I first saw Superman the movie. Now I'm 35 years and still a big fan from Christopher/Superman, mostly when he's in red, blue and yellow, of course. I want to thank you for this great site because all pictures I always wanted to have from Christopher, I can find for free. As a child I cut pictures out of books, magazines and made my own album. With a color printer now I can print all the pictures I always wanted! I don't know why, but the Superman movies with Christopher and his pictures when he is Superman, make me feel good. Like there's a knowing that there still is somebody in the world who's totally good, because for me Superman lives (besides I know he's a character). There still is a picture I want to have. It was in a comic in 1978 in black and white. Superman lies down on the rail and he looks brave forward and lifts up the rail with his right arm. This picture is taken from the left front. His left hand lies against the left rail. The picture in the hall from his face, is new on your site and I always wanted another picture of this (it was on the back of a photo book in 1978) and you've put on your site. Thank you very much!! Best regards,
Quinten from the Netherlands."
“Hey, you have a wonderful website! Superman is still my favorite movie of all time, after 25 years. I first saw it in 1978 when I was 12 years old, and it stunned me, even today it still is just a magnificent piece of art. Movies don't get any better than this. I wish you all the best and continue your great work. Good luck,
Peter from Belgium.”
“My name is Garrick Estick. I live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I'm a Disc Jockey. I'm also an employee for ROOTS clothing. I thank you for coming up with a website like this. It helps me relive a moment of childhood. This was the first movie that my mother took me to as a boy. It happened on a Tuesday, Spring Break 1979 and I was 7 years old. I'm on this site and thinking, wow, my mom would have loved this. Unfortunately, she died 2 months ago. So as you can see, this wasn't just the great movie of all time. It was also one of the best moment for myself and my mother. I will always remember her for this. I hope one day they show movies like this for the big screen in Toronto. Even if it was just for a limited time. If I had held a premier like this, I would take the funds and donate to the Cancer Society. My mother died of cancer. Superman: The Movie must be recognized on the big screen again. Toronto International Film Festival is coming. Who knows? Take Care, Kind Regards,
Garrick.”
“I have been greatly enjoying your CapedWonder site for many days, and decided to write you. It may be needless to say that the graphics work you have done is stunning, but maybe hearing it one more time will feel good. Excellent!!! I was in my late teens when Superman: The Movie came out, and it was the highlight of my life at the time! (I even sneaked a tape recorder into the theatre so I could listen back many times later.) I was so impressed with the graphics and extras on the recent DVD releases, and it's neat to know now who was responsible for part of it. Great work!
Fred Passmore.”
“I just wanted to say that I LOVE your work. You have done some amazing things with the Superman pics. I also wanted to ask if you ever plan to use your skills to do with other superheroes what you have done with Superman? I, and I'm sure other fans, would love to see the same care and dedication that you give the Superman pics to other heroes like Batman or Wonder Woman, or maybe even some Marvel heroes. Also, I see that you have started adding Supergirl to your list of pics. Does this mean that you will be making enhanced pics of her as well? I think it would be cool to see a pic of her and Supes together using your techniques. Anyway, I think your work is wonderful and I look forward to seeing more.
Darrel Arthur.”
“I continue to check out your site periodically for new photos from the first two films. I really can't believe the quality of these images. The colors look as if they were shot yesterday! And the continuity Polaroids are amazing. The one with Perry White in his bathroom, and the one of Ursa on the moon are the only photos I've ever seen from those scenes. Thank you for your hard work for all Superman fans. Best,
Kenny Strong.”
